1979, Eastern Outdoors offers guided sea kayak tours on the Bay of
Fundy. As outfitters and retailers in the outdoor and watersport industry,
Robert and Deanna Vlug saw their business grow and become one of the
biggest and most influential outdoor shop in Atlantic Canada. From
sailboats to windsurfing, from sea and whitewater kayaking to whitewater
rafting, Eastern Outdoors has been catering to groups, families and
